Here is a nice shot of the NSL Electroliner as it waits for traffic to pass on Greenfield Ave., Milwaukee, WI (two blocks north of the house.) Note this pre-dates stop 'n go lights at this intersection. Also, the stop sign is yellow and black. The apartment building and all the buildings and trees on the left, east of the train, are long gone and replaced by the I-94 express-way. Train made last run in January of 1963. Andy and Wendi Engagement

Kathy and David Kulas announced the engagement of their youngest daughter Wendi to Andy Ludwig. Both knew each other from Athens High School days. Andy will spend a year in Iraq and Wendi is in her sophmore year at Lakeland College. Marriage plans are in the works for 2008. Congratulations to them both! Update: 26 August, 2006 Wendi's mom, Kathy, says that Andy will be at Fort McCoy until he is ready to ship out.

Tim sent a new set of pictures today. Some were from my Christmas visit and some from since then. I know they are both busy with school work, so I patiently await each batch of pictures and try not to pester for updates. These will have to hold me until the next break.
