Remember when they allowed "kitty-corner" crossing on Wisconsin Avenue. Someone posted this vintage Milwaukee photo (credit to Nuclear Art) and I noticed the wierd pedestrian pattern and then I recalled that they experimented with that feature for a few years in the early 50's.

I stopped in for a double dip tonight as long as I was in the neibhborhood. I thought I better take a picture of this sign before someone like Walgreen's tears it down like they did with the National Liquor Bar sign.

Packers won; Brewers won; and we knocked out 15 pints or so of apple sauce from Glenn's tree. Oh yeah, and Neil got a good start on building his computer desk! A pretty good Sunday all in all!

Fish Fry Night at Aud-Mar on Bass's Bay of Big Muskego Lake, Muskego, WI. The gathering before Cathie & Jim return to AZ for the winter months.
Aud-Mar is expected to close its doors in April of 2007.

I had Bucket Head seats (thanks anyway Mark), but cousin Karen had behind the plate seats...tough choice! They lost that game... and won the final Cards game on Wednesday. Now they won three from the Giants so if they win on Sunday they will have won five in a row, making our Tuesday night game the last loss at Miller Park for the season.

First Birthday!

Here is William and grandpa in the Winnie Palmer Pavilion of the Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando on his first birthday. We went back to where it all began on Sept. 5th, 2005. Now it is one year later; the pavilion is finished and we went back to the beginning!
