MBB-Tour Group Originally uploaded by Gadder.
Twice each year the Museum of Beer and Brewing conducts the Beer Baron Tour through Forest Home Cemetery. The Fall tour for 2006 was held on Saturday, October 28th. A group of about 70 assembled at the Holler House near 21st and Lincoln. Jim Kupferschmidt, President of MBB (a.k.a. MBM - Milwaukee Beer Museum) did an excellent job of sharing the stories of many of Milwaukee's Brewing pioneers.

Old Milwaukee

Old Milwaukee Originally uploaded by Nuclear Art.
Remember when they allowed "kitty-corner" crossing on Wisconsin Avenue. Someone posted this vintage Milwaukee photo (credit to Nuclear Art) and I noticed the wierd pedestrian pattern and then I recalled that they experimented with that feature for a few years in the early 50's.

Leon's Frozen Custard

Sunday at Glenn's

Sunday at Glenn's
